Miranda Ball
Director
Miranda trained at the Cordon Bleu School in London after leaving school and then read Modern Languages at London University. Carte Blanche was born when the caterers failed to turn up for an event when she was working in the City and she was asked to step in at the last moment. Since then, she has created menus and ideas for weddings and parties all over England and says she has never lost her passion for creating a really amazing event, even at one in the morning!
Trevor Ball
Director
Trevor runs the events side of the business for Carte Blanche and is expert at transforming a blank canvas into a Winter Wonderland, Ibiza Night Club or even an American Diner! He is also famous for his organic bread (still supplied to our catering clients) and was one of the original Rick Stein Food Heroes.
Tony Miller
Head Chef
Tony has been Head Chef at Carte Blanche for nine years. After qualifying at Hertford College, he spent some time working at Fanhams Hall before joining Carte Blanche, where his passion for great food is evident in everything he does. He has four children under the age of ten!
Maz Sharifrazi
Events Coordinator
Maz has been keeping us all under control at Carte Blanche for seven years. Having read Eastern European Studies at UCL in London, she worked as a legal executive and in IT before turning her talents to event planning and coordination. Maz’s greatest talent lies in managing every detail in the run up to an event and making sure it all happens on the day without a hitch. Her eye for detail and organisational skills are legendary!
Sam Ball
Sous Chef
Sam qualified from Leith’s Cookery School in 2013 and has been working for Carte Blanche ever since, combining his cookery skills with an army career, where he serves with The Royal Anglians. He is an expert on game and is reputed to make the best paella outside Spain!
Cheryl Barnet
Sous Chef
Cheryl is the person who makes all the canapé bases. Her attention to detail and patience enables us to make everything from scratch to produce the best canapés ever!
Hayley Davies
Event Manager
Hayley and Trudi are our most experienced event managers and are known to many of our clients. They are the ones who will make sure service runs smoothly on the day and that your guests’ needs are always met promptly.

Zoe Nicholas
Staff Coordinator
Zoe is our staff coordinator. All our staff are trained in-house and Zoe makes sure that the very highest standards are always maintained and that staff are fully briefed before every event. Carte Blanche waiting staff always know what they are serving!
